Hey guys,
Just wondering how you guys go about cleaning the lids to your weber kettles and WSMs. I have a kettle that I have left outside uncovered for a couple of years now and it looks pretty darn dirty. I decided to finally go buy a cover, clean her up and start taking proper care of her. Problem is, I can't get it clean. I guess the stuff is baked on. I've tried soap and water and an all-purpose cleaner to no avail. It sure looks like the stuff will come off if I just use the right chemical. Any suggestions? Maybe Greased Lightning? I certainly don't want to ruin the finish.
Thanks.
