is One Chatty Farker
Spent the past week at the cottage. Installed a deck and stairs on the retaining wall. The temps in Creston were sitting around 34 C (90ish F), so just spent the mornings working and the afternoons hiding in the shade and smoking! Had the parents over for a chicken dinner.
While eating dinner, I glanced up at the smoker across the yard and see flames shooting out the top! Guess all the chicken fat caught fire and was burning. So I kept an eye on it and allowed it to burn off before covering and letting it die out.
Then a couple days later the families were having a get together, so I smoked 5 racks of ribs.
Everything tasted fantastic and the leftovers are sitting in the freezer for the next visit. I'll reheat over the fire and enjoy!
