• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Had a couple questions about my new cooker I posted pics of the first cook earlier figured I'd make a separate post with details of the cooker. It was custom made by Built Rite Mobile Concessions out of Jacksonville FL. The original owner had it custom built in November. He was going to do some catering but it never fully got off the ground and this was way to huge for his needs. So fortunately for me it had very little use I'd guess maybe a dozen cooks at the most. Here is the details of the beast. Main Chamber has 5 racks each rack is 27x70. 40 lbs of drumsticks fit perfectly on each rack. The bottom rack had wings and the top rack had a couple rows in the front along with the 2 slabs on the side left side. I could have probably got 10 more slabs of ribs on the top rack behind the wings if I needed to. The warmer box has 3 shelves that are 19x25. It has a damper from the main cook chamber. The other side is the charcoal grill. It has 2 racks in it bottom is 53x23 and top is 53x19. On the front corner is 2 propane burners that have never been used something I will work on in the next few weeks. They have no lines ran to them or anything. So all in all it has more than I need but it was a good deal and as everyone said go bigger than you think you need. The thing is so huge though it takes a while to warm up but holds heat really well it seems. I ordered a couple oven thermometers to put in the back of the chamber because I think the door thermometers don't give a true reading since it's so big. Any questions feel free to ask. I will say I'm impressed with it all and all and the price was to good to pass up. Even new the price was very fair I thought compared to some others I've seen. Built Rite Concessions builds everything from this to small patio models I saw on his Facebook page he was shipping some to Australia so he must be doing something right. Feel free to PM me if you would like his info.

Never heard of them but it looks like a really nice cooker. Is the bottom of the cook chamber flat or rounded?

Flat removable plates can be adjusted or removed something I'll play around with in the future.

That is huge How much fuel-wood/charcoal does it use It is really nice Congrats and Enjoy

I've just done one cook so it's hard to get a good judge but it should be about average I'm thinking will have a better idea after this weekend and learning more about it.

man i go to a few world of outlaw racing shows in my area i could just imagine the crowds i would have at my camper if i had this bad boy filled with meat. Congrats looks like an awesome smoker

I'm the crazy Aussie that is buying off Donnie.... Can't speak highly enough of his communication and pricing/build. Plus his shipping is excellent, including hand delivering if he is able. The only issue is you need to be patient, as he is very very busy! And just a family business. So wait times can be a few weeks, but I think thats a great sign. He's on FB, if you want to look them up.

how are you liking this smoker after a year of use ?

I see you found the only other thread I am aware of related to Built Rite. I'm at work so haven't had a chance to search for it...Big thumbs and tiny keys on phone makes things a hassle.

Don:t know about the OP, but there is a guy I've chatted with via FB that is on his 2nd or 3rd build by Donnie...and still has his first. He has a restaurant t and/or catering business that is booming and he has been expanding his arsenal as needed.

Ok...So I found another thread...someone asked about Built Rite...The OP commented that he loved his and had no issues...This was in October, so six months after he bought it.

That's a nice little; I mean "BIG" cooker, and an Awesome cook on her!!! I wish you much success with her!
