• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Me and the family went to Salina, KS for a few days and checked out the Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure Zoo. The trip was a prime example of good ole family fun.

We had a few hours to spare so what did I talk the wife into?

We drove just over an hour to Yoder Meats just outside of Hutchinson, KS. This Amish meat shop is awesome. I could have spent a fortune there but I spent only $14 on a few coils of German Sausage.

You know your Brethren when you work a trip to a meat store in your family vacation.

Or you work a family vacation into your trip to the meat store...

It's all about spending time with the family. Nothing better...

Oh yeah that used to be a regular for me when I lived in Wichita. There's a Amish cafe there that is really good too. Used to go to the hardware store too they had all the good hand tools, lanterns and such.

Yup, yup, yup, ate at the "Carriage Crossing" right across the street for lunch. Of course I had the Smoked Sausage Dinner. The sausage is smoked and then grilled. It was awesome. Trying to duplicate it right now.

Nowdays, I don't travel near as much as I used to for work but I like stopping in to meat markets and sausage houses whenever I get the chance. This one is about 500 miles north, but has some good stuff.
