• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Decent deal, but if I was going to get a performer I would want the gas assist.

Good. I already initiated contact, but we have not talked yet. I found it within 15 minutes of posting. :)

No, you'd have to drill a hole in the bowl.

I will need to check into this more. I don't want to risk damaging the bowl. I actually drilled my lid today for a temp gauge and I got some chipping around the hole. I have some high temp porcelain touch up ordered now.

Its a pretty good deal. Of course a lower price is better for anyone but the seller but hey, $200 for a never used performer = deal

I have the same performer (older model with plastic side table though) and think $200 is good but....doesnt hurt to ask. $175 would be a start. If they say no, hopefully they meet somewhere under $200. Either way, you cant go wrong.

It's a deal but never hurts to try for a lower price. I expect it is already gone.

Thanks for the feedback. I will be calling seller later this morning. I will post the results. I will need to travel an hour or so to get it, but there is a decent bbq joint nearby. Maybe I can get there before the burnt ends are sold out!

Done deal

Well I made my first Craigslist deal on this Weber Performer premium. You gotta love a road trip. I made the most of my pick up after an hour and 15 minute drive with a stop the Black Dog Smoke & Ale House for a little road food. Pale ale, pork ribs and black ends for lunch. I guess they slice as I was expecting chunks. But darn good none the less!
