I've been reading the forums for some time, but after talking with Wes and Steve at the LI ICS Chili Cook-off, decided to take the plunge.
I worked behind a range for the best part of 20 years, but didn't discover the wider world of BBQ until 2004. We've been doing a couple of comps per year and have finally gotten an occasional call in our last couple of outings. (Ignoring Yardley, where we got assorted body parts kicked.)
We're currently looking forward to Lake Placid at the end of the month.
