I'd pass. From what I've learned previously, a lot of the knives made in China can't guarantee quality. They promise hardness rating of 58-60 but it might not be consistent through all of them. That is what you get for cheap labor.

This is a good site to use for any deals like this. For instance, this has never been sold by Amazon and it is always 3rd Party. Highest price was immediately when they put it on the site at $96.72. If you guys really need a good, inexpensive chef knife, don't waste your money on that one. Buy a fujiwara. Both the the FKM (stainless) and FKH (carbon) are in that price range, and both are going to be infinitely better than that chinese knock off.
