Looking at Racers Smoke King got me thinking about building a vertical water smoker.
I'm thinking 24" pipe so you could use the large weber grates.
Racer says the SK lacks a bottom and vents for proper fire control so add those.
Perhaps a separate door for the fire area?
How tall could you make the thing and still have all usable cooking space?
What other things could do to this basic design to improve it?
Any obvious problems (other than cost) that I'm not thinking of?
