So started this about 1 month ago after I was in the market for a smoker and living in CA there isn't any smoker builders let alone in Los Angeles so we decided to build our own. Once this one is done we might build 2 more.

Looks like you're off to a great start, liked the vid. There is a guy in Modesto that builds a nice Insulated Cabinet, Kat BBQ Smokers but if I had the skills I'd build my own to.

Im a machinist and welder... i seen this on smokerbuilder.com and i love this design also, i planned on building this very soon, keep posting your videos!

I have 2x2 1/4 hss tubing for the frame.. ill cap them off so no water or rust builds up inside. And im planning on having all the 3 back walls be the intake with a few holes just above the waterpan for exhaust
