Craig's list find

I've been wanting a Weber kettle grill for a while. I found a 22.5" Gold on Craig's List for $65. It came with a set of the Weber grilling tools (tongs, brush, etc), a chimney, a cookbook, and a set of metal skewers that have never been opened.

The grate is a bit rusty. I'll try to clean it up, but I'll replace it if need be and still come out way ahead.

Dang it, you just brought up bad memories of the Weber Performer that I found on the Dallas Craigslist a couple of months ago for $50... While I was stuck in London!!!! Of course it was gone when I got back!

I guess I should not browse Craigslist while on the road...

Craigslist is great. This morning I picked up a One Touch Silver for $55 I found on Craigslist. NIB, never opened. Then on my way home I was passing a farm that was having a yard sale and got 3 8qt chafing sets for $10.

Very nice find.... I picked up a really nice Kenmore 20 cubic foot upright freezer yesterday for $200. It is one year old and the retail price is $849!!!

I have a chest freezer but whatever I needed always seemed to be on the farkin bottom... I am really glad to get the new one!!
