• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just wondering if anyone with a Shirley uses a cover? I know Paul has someone that can make covers for it, but I'm wondering if there are other options? I will have my new Shirley in a few months and it will be out in the elements. Any suggestions?

I bought a big metal carport for $1,500 but you can get single car size ones for $700 .

I have had a tarp on mine for several months and an ez-up. Even thought about a van or small rv cover as they seemed big enough. Having a slab poured this weekend. Then the plan is a metal garage. Probably overkill but it will hold all my cookers and give the porch and deck back to my wife. I think she's almost as excited as I am.

My other plan was a custom cover from a boat place. I figured that money would make a decent dent in the carport instead.

This might help not sure but they have different sizes

The shirley should be like one of the family, just bring it into the living room.

If anyone in your area makes boat covers, you could have them make you a custom job locally.

Sorry, don't have any suggestions for a cover.

Might have to check out your Shirley once you get it since you're not too far from me. Which model and add-ons did you do?

I'm going with a pretty much standard 24x42 Patio Model. I think the only add ons I'm doing are a probe port and one extra temp gauge in the door.
