Babbling Farker
Cooked 20 pounds of quarter legs on the vortex and Big Joe. After the Vortex ones were just about done I switched the kamado ones over to the vortex and shut the big Joe down and let the first batch of vortex finish up. Gave most of the chicken away.
I really do like the Vortex. I would love to have a 26inch kettle and vortex.
Yesterday did some riblets and since I never foil and do that butter, B.S. honey deal I figured I give it try with some riblets.
I like the Mikes's hot honey but I'm not sure it's much better then the hot honey I make by adding Oakridge crucible rub in it.
Also I ordered some glazes from Triple 9 Swine and glazes. They had a special running and apparently it was over. I messaged them on fb asking about it cause I tried earlier in the day and it wouldn't load when I clicked on it. Then it was gone. So the were kind enough to give the deal that was no longer running. I can't wait to try the glazes and rubs out. Shout out to Triple 9 swine customer service.
