Tried plowboys on the pork and black ops on the ribs for the first time. Loved the plowboys, blops was good but I think I'm still a heavy pepper, kosher salt and granulated garlic guy.

Thank you, It wasn't that I didn't like the black ops. I just like the heavy taste of pepper finished with kosher salt better on beef

If you like a more peppery taste, why not rub with pepper then Black Ops?
Just a suggestion if that was the only thing that you didn't like about the final flavor profile
