• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

FYI, following our discussion several weeks ago about dusting chicken with corn starch before BBQ to give it a crispy skin, I was wathcing "America'S Test Kitchen" today and they were doing a fried chicken dish. They drenched the chicken in lightly beaten eggwhites and then coated in corn starch only. The host said it gave it a very crispy skin.

Well, I never had any trouble getting crispy skin on Fried Chicken. Guess it might help.
For smoking chickie--results are very mixed-- from what I can gather.
Time will tell.

I never had trouble with crispy skin on fried I was just surprised using nothing but cornstarch for coating.
