• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I recently subscribed to cook's illustrated magazine after getting several free samples and really like it. I've also been getting another magazine called "cook's country" , which is very similar except with color photo's (no advertizing etc). Are they by chance related???
Just curious.

Yep. Same address in Boston. Funny, they say the circulation of Cook's Illustrated is 900,000, roughly the same as Gourmet magazine. I had no idea it was that large.

Neat magazine. I like how they try a bunch of different things to get a recipe perfect.

Clint is right, they both come from the same place.
I get Cooks Illustrated and like it alot. In fact I have
a few of the America's Test Kitchen cook books and also think that they are worth every penny.

yeah i like that about both magazines..they try different stuff till they perfect it. pretty cool and no ads!!! Tips on gadgets ect. Lot better then those mags with 200 pages and 175 are ads!

I also enjoy the section where someone sends in a picture of a weird kitchen tool they found at a flea market or grandma's attic and they tell what it is.
