• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Question--Does your camera have a regular "viewfinder" or just a digital image to use for shooting?
If you can avoid the digital preview, it saves a ton on battery use.
I go hundreds of shots on 4 A's IF if use the viewfinder.
I get maybe 20 shots if I use the digital window.

Just a thought.

It has both, I'll look into the setup to see if I can turn off the display.

The other thing that will help is to use rechargables. I keep 4 AAs recharging while my camera holds the 2 AAs it needs. Always a fresh set waiting...

I have found that I get alot more shots with the more expesive Energizer type batteries. I can't remember the name exactly but it's the silver ones, Titanium I think they are called. I also use the NiMH rechargable batteries for used in my electronic gear. I'm working on eventually getting enough NiMh batteries to not need to buy regualr alkalines again for a long time.
