need to give a price to cook for 200 people. All ages from kids to adults. this is a prewedding get together.
Chicken how many pounds
Pork shoulder how many pounds
Brisket How many pounds
What should a person charge for this?
All i am asked to do is to buy and cook the meat.
Thanks Scott

Chicken - Do by the piece - 250 pieces
Pork - 90 lbs of uncooked butts
Brisket - 82 lbs uncooked Brisket

Sauce? Pans? Foil? Charcoal?

This is assuming you have refrigeration, a cooker that will handle this amount, hot holding equipment, and a way to deliver. Drop off would be 3 to 4x your costs.

If so, clearly state that in your contract what you are responsible for on this job. I'm assuming (Apologize of I'm wrong) that you don't have a restaurant or catering business currently, so the usual caveats apply regarding business license, resale number, insurance, etc, etc.

My suggestion - Have one of the local Brethren help you out with this, and split the proceeds.
