• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I made a couple of baby back racks this afternoon. We have a neighbor that moved in a month or so ago, and so we made her a welcome to the neighborhood box. I put some pulled pork, a couple of ribs, and some bcc in the box.

She called a little bit ago to tell me that she lived in Memphis and had a lot of the Memphis ribs, but mine were far superior to the ones she has had....

I am allergic to pork, and have no idea what they taste like.... so, again, I suppose I am doing something right.

My best friend is alleegic to pork. That makes you the second person I've heard of.

Sorry to hear the bad news!:-P But good to hear the great news too! Thats a good compliment!
I have friend from N.C. and he says the same for my P.Pork! Sliced pork. Big head mod.! Doesn't it feel good to know your que is good?

I've got a cousin who is also allergic to pork. You poor guys make the second & third that I know of. I guess that you have to do what cousin Jim does------- "pig" out on the brisket:rolleyes:.

p.s. - good news on the rave reviews!

I have lived in the woods most of my life. This is truly the first time I have heard of a meat allergy. But I know from being a member here, pork isn't the only meat out there. So smoke on Brother and enjoy. That was a great compliment indeed. I will admit that certain cuts of pork wreak havoc on my blood pressure, think maybe it's more the spices used than the meat. Just like the fatty's we all love to cook. More than a slice and I will regret it pretty darn quick. But that doesn't affect my desire to continue to cook so others may enjoy.
