• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Cigars... any other smokers out there?

My other vice (eating and beer drinking being the others) is cigar smoking. A good cigar is a great addition to both the grilling experience as well as after eating your masterpieces. Sat on the lania last evening watching the Jets/Skins game enjoying a post-dinner cigar. Very nice.

Any others out there? What are your favorites?

Mine:

Most Fuente products.
Padrons
Excaliburs
Most Cubans although Punch and Partagas lead the list.

Used to smoke a pipe - then the no smoking rules helped me quit. I enjoy a cigar now and then -- not real picky and certainly not an afficianato (sp?). As long as it's natural wrapper I'm not particular. My son picked up some nice Honduran cigars when he was down there along with a couple of Cubans.

I enjoy smoking a cigar every now and then - nothing fancy typically punch or macenudo. A friend of mine had an 'engagement' party here in KC not so long ago. He lives in GA now and brought up about 100 decent cigars. I think about 20 were smoked that evening so I ended up with a bunch of the leftovers.

I made a tupperdor out of tupperware, cigar boxes, propelyne glycol + distilled water = magic humidor juice, florists foam, a travel soap dish and a humidistat. The thing is awesome - currently holding my cigars at roughly 70 degrees at between 68-70% relative humidity. I think I'll partake this weekend.

Good job on that tuppordor. No need ofr anything fancey as long as it covers the essentials of maintaining the relative humidity correctly.

I have a good cigar pal in KC who also is big time into webber cooking. I'll pass this along to him and maybe you can replace that bud who moved. By coincidence he was looking at a job in Atlanta but I know it isn't him because he wouldn't get engaged w/o telling us.

Would he?

Love cigars. Great when qing, watching football, or just hanging out on the deck.

My favs:
Romeo y Juliet #2 or Tubed Churchills
Helix (new, but nice)
Griffins

I'm a pipe smoker. I find it does a better job repelling West Nile mosquitoes. Not that I'd turn down a good cigar; or even a shitty one probably.

Only have one after Sex have to buy the damn things by the box.

Actually I have found that cigars are a good repellent for a lot of pests, including some of the human variety. (Particularly in California)

Braggin or complaining?
