Made prime rib on my WSM for the first time. Also used my weber igrill for the first time. Had an alarm set on my phone for 130 degrees, however it never alerted me. Went outside to spray some cherry juice on it and the igrill was beeping. The temperature was 135 degrees. Covered with foil and threw it in a cooler.
This cooked faster than I anticipated. Total cook time was 3 hours 20 minutes in the 225-250 degree range. Being my first time making this it turned out well and everyone was happy. Finished cooking 1 hour and 40 minutes before our planned lunchtime. Foiled wrapped it and stored in a yeti style cooler for two hours before slicing and serving.
