• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

As usual I way overbought. I'm looking at half of a 20lb turkey and the bourbon glazed ham. (Props to Blue Dawg. I found his recipe for the ham glaze. AMAZING)

Can you guys/girls help me with some ideas for meals with the leftovers? Other than sandwiches....

Well there's Turkey Sandwiches, Ham sandwiches. Could use the ham to make a cheddar broccoli noodle casserole.

Use the ham to top a pizza. You can do all kinds of stuff. I personally just like eating the meat. I'm gonna warm my Turkey wings from yesterday in the oven and gnaw on them for lunch :)

Leftover Turkey - cut down or pull turkey into smaller boneless pieces, sauté down a bunch of diced onions and a diced red bell pepper in a large pot. Add turkey and a few cups of chicken stock to moisten. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, cayenne, etc. if you have a couple of cans of diced green chili's, throw those in as well. Once all the flavors meld and the turkey pieces start to shred, add a handfull of chopped cilantro and you have a great filling for Turkey Enchiladas or Turkey Tacos.

Leftover Ham - Nothing like ham bone soup with beans!

I like to take the bone from the ham and make ham and bean soup. I leave plenty of meat on the bone but will add some of the ham if there's not enough on the bone.

Yup, I'm on the soup wagon with the turkey, and black eye peas and ham for a nice bean comforter.

Beans and ham:)

Send some of them enchiladas my way while you're at it.

form a patty, fry in pan)
