• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I was coming home on the train late Friday night, technically Satuday morning, and decided to pick up a magazone to read so as not to fall asleep and end up 80 miles past my stop.

"Chile Pepper" ( http://www.chilepepper.com/html/ )looked intersting. I had never heard of it turned out to be money well spent.

I loved the articles and recipes.

And as I have now found out, past issues, in their entirety, are availabkle as free downloads except for the most recent two.

That makes this free stuff that I would have paid for! Could it get any better?

Has anyone else here seen this magazone before?

There was on particularly intersting article on Lokkii that i will start a separate thread on.

It looks and sounds like a mag I had a subscription to a while back. It went belly-up and stopped publishing. From the website, it appears that a new publishing group took over and started up again.
If it is the same, I always enjoyed it and found it useful.
I will look for a current copy on the newsstand.

Thanks for the heads up Tim

this thread needs a couple pix

How much does a year cost? I know I could have found that out on the website but didn't!

I think I like that a lot. It's a cool site. Going to check out a back issue before I commit.

Looks like the Sub is $24. Did anyone have any luck pulling up the archives? They listed the titles, but I could not get to the stories. Is it just for subscribers?

go to the third one down on the list or older and you can download the pdf file... big file, but worth it!

I have subscribed to Chile Pepper for several years and have been very pleased with just about every issue. Always a cool recipe to try.

This is something near and dear to my heart. I have somewhat of a pepper forest with some basil growing out front of my house(don't tell my association).
Anyways, I committed to last winter growing my own Jalps for abt purposes, but then I saw the Fresno and Anaheims were lookin pretty good too. All purchased at Lowes. Now its August and all of them are growing like crazy.
I've now decided to make my own salsa, but don't know chit about how to do it. Anybody got ideas? Thanks brothers!
