xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have never seen wings even judging FBA and KCBS. May have missed them.
Normally, thighs, legs, white meat, or Cornish.

It is difficult to make a good wing without frying so that kinda kills wings as a turn-in. Never saw one except at a grilling contest.

I think Tom [Roo-B-Q'n] has done wings a couple of times with mixed results.
If I remember correct he got a call in Mason City IA. and then the nexted weekend it was clear of the map. When he checks in i'm shure he will chime in.

I've putt wings in boxes before. Never an all wing box. I'd NEVER turn in drummies. They are usually tough. The middle section of the wing is the best.
As a matter of personal taste, I don't care for fried wings. Much prefer smoked or grilled if you have to.

That being said Brew-B-Q in Indepedence IA weekend after next has a wing catagory and I can't wait. WAHOOO!!!!

Might want to check with Michelle (lunchlady)... II believe she previously mentioned her team Lunchmeat was submitting wings only for quite a while.

Ron, I have done that and didnt fair well...I have tried schreaded, legs etc..nothing pleases like a thigh(dont know why???)ask 2 fat polocks, they do (from what I hear) a fantastic "grill fried" chicken and get knut and bolted every time, I here its really good stuff, but the judges are schooled on thighs..L.O.L........thanks for the great pics...Sal!!!!!!!
