Chicago to Charlotte NC

Howdy all - driving from Chicago to Asheville/Charlotte NC this weekend and hope to hit as many BBQ stops as I can.

Would appreciate any recommendations. The route is Indianapolis -> Cincinnati -> Lexington ->Asheville.

No idea of anything in between, but I have eaten at Luellas in Asheville. It was decent, good beers, sides and desserts. I recall getting a combo plate. Brisket was ok, turkey was really good.

What's your route from Indy to Cincy? If you are going south on I-65 then I have a recommendation.
