My brother is part owner of a new restaurant in Logan Square in Chicago. If you're in the area, get there! It's a local gastropub/bar, with a great whiskey selection.

Neighborhood: Logan Square

The name is in the thread title (Longman & Eagle) :)

They're getting great press, and just got named one of the best 100 bars in the US, and they only opened in January. The chef also just won a city-wide bacon-related competition. He knows what he's doing! He's also competed in KCBS comps before.

They're mostly called "small plates", and are done so that the cost is lower. It's not a fancy place at all; if you're going to discount it because you think it looks too 'fancy', that's your right, but you'll be missing something.
