• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Last weekend the wife and I were up at the Brethren bash and after tried to find the Vienna beef natural casing hot dogs to make Chicago dogs. But to our disappointment we could not find them. We went to jewel and Walmart and another big store that Ted told us about. All we could find is skinless dogs, but we did get the relish and the sport peppers. Who sells the natural casing wieners? I'm looking for that snap when I take a bite.

Yea done that, if a store sells any of its products, their on the list. I might try to give them a call directly and see what happens. I was just shocked that every store up there didn't sell them. I thought they would be a staple like milk and bread

If you can't find them, and are looking for snappy, try looking for "Old Wisconsin" brand Smokehouse Wiener, natural casing, in a dry bag. They are still linked in the bag.

Awesome dogs, snappiest I've ever eaten. Even compared honest to goodness german knockwurst.

My local Woodmans in Milwaukee carries them. Not sure if you have woodmans down where you're at.

I was afraid of that. I'm surprised that Portillo's shows up when I search using their finder. I thought Portillo's switch to their own brand of dogs when the chain was sold a couple of years ago. Maybe they are made for Portillos by Vienna Beef?

Anyway, I'll try to keep an eye out for them in the stores around here.

Aren't those the skinless ones? He was looking for the natural castings. I haven't seen those anywhere in years.
