• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

i was making these yesterday and really liked them so i thought i'd share. this produce something really close to fried pork skins quickly and easily. just cover the bottom of a hot non-stick frying pan with some shredded cheese (i use mexi-blend shredded cheese from costco) fry it until golden brown on one side flip ot over and fry the other side. if you fried it in bacon greese it might fool you. great with eggs. some people like some crispy skin in pulled pork so this might be good for times you are making a pork butt with no skin but want that option. enjoy!
 
Resurrecting an old thread (relative term on this site!) Just catching up on my lurking...

I make these frequently, but on a piece of parchment in the microwave. Just have to watch it close to let it brown but not burn, 2-3 minutes usually. Real popular low-carb snack.

And for variations, I use different or mixes of cheeses, and add pepperoni or sliced jalapenos. With pepperoni, I like to use a little pizza sauce or marinara for dipping...
