• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Anybody ever use the Char Crust rubs?
http://www.charcrust.com/

I used the "Rub with Love" stuff on some ribs a few weeks ago and was a little disappointed. I'm supposed to make ribs for a 4th of July BBQ this weekend and was looking at this CharCrust stuff today. Didn't buy any. I thought I'd get feedback from you guys first.

Thanks!

Never heard of it. Have you tried some of the others we talk about routinely on this board. I'd suggest using those first or make your own.

I tried it and it was OK,but didn't like it enough to buy more when it was gone.I would say it' s worth a try.I like Spade L Ranch for pork,i get it at Albertson's.

I've tried a couple of different flovors on ribs, and they were pretty good. There are other commercial rubs that I like better... Mary's Cherry Rub, Blues Hog are good.

I've used the original flavor on steak & liked it.

This is probably my favorite for steak.

Very little is available in the way of rubs hre in New England. I've looked everywhere. You guys keep talking about Blue Hog and all these other rubs. I go looking for them and come up empty every time. I checked the Spade L website yesterday, and sure enough they don't sell it up this way. Blues Hog isn;t up this way either. Guess it's time to start buying online.
