• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Wanted to pass along a deal I got on a Cabelas 15" Commercial Vacuum Sealer. I was in the market because mine went out on me. I was at Cabelas picking out a new "Man's" fishing pole for my son's 6th birthday over the Sunday night with him (he's not into the Cars action pole no more). We walked by the vacuum sealer section and the 15" ones were cleared out. I grabbed an associate and he told me there was a recently had a recall on them for a bad seal. He said they are all upstairs in the bargain area and are marked down as being refurbished because they were an open item. They had a pallet of them, at least 25 of them.

New Price: $479.99
Reburbished Price: $259.99
Employee Pricing over the weekend: $201.99
Savings: $278 for a $5 seal that went bad.

Not sure if the sale is still going on, but $260 is still an awesome price. It had never been used.

Awesome Deal......

That's the beauty of a repairable machine when they have user replaceable parts readily available. There are so many other brands out there that are simply considered disposable units because they do not offer parts or repairs for them.

Anyone looking, I would call your local Cabelas. This was a company wide recall, mine in Hoffman Estates, IL had a pallet of them.
