Menard's, a regional chain in the upper midwest kind of like Home Depot ,has them for $189.99 this week at the local store.

So... If I wanted to add a charcoal smoker to my arsenal, should i go for the BKSD at $189 or a WSM at $159?

I'm sure others more experienced than my self will be kicking in their 2 cents on this one but if you are just adding to your arsenal you should get the WSM. It is a great all around smoker and easy to use. The BSKD is also a great unit but not as portable. If you need one strictly for quantity then it's the BSKD. If you want it for ease of use and portability I'd say the WSM. Biger verses smaller. I think the WSM is pretty much recognized as the best bang for the buck for a charcoal smoker in it's class.
