Went to costco today an picked up 2 packers ($2.79lb prime) an 1 flat. Got 40+ family coming over tomorrow. Is there anything I should do different with the flat? never smoked one. Same cook time? Thanks

The flat might take a little less time as the packers. Maybe start it an hour or two after, or just hold it in a cooler wrapped in a towel till the packers are done.

I think the key is cook to 205 and probe tender no matter what the time.
