I'm getting ready to throw down a 15 lb select brisket that I picked up earlier also picked up some oak chunks and some cherry wood too. I will be posting more pics shortly.

xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Status update: left for a bit to go get some cold ones came back to nice thin wisps of blue smoke drifting down the street. Good sign of things to come. Down side I had to trim back the beast of a brisket to fit in the PBC. Positive side I will have a good size piece for some chili tomorrow night, maybe a jalapeño cheese fatty is in order to throw in there for said chili?
