• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hey guys, I know this question has been asked before but where can I find a Brinkmann water pan to fit in a Weber Smokey Mountain? I have checked Wal Mart, Lowes and Home Depot here in Kansas City with no luck.

try acadamy sports, or Bass pro shop. if u dont have either one u can order online from bass pro shop for like 5 bucks plus about 5 bucks shipping. might as well order 2 and do a piedmont pan set up.

You don't want the Brinkman water pan, you want the Brinkman charcoal pan.
I bought 2 of them from Bass Pro Shops online. Total w/ shipping was less than $15.

FatDaddy's got it. I've found, though, that the stock pan does just fine if you're running dry. I just foil mine and go! I'm increasingly of the opinion that I'll never go back to using water in the pan.

Jordan, check your private message. I have one I can sell you for $5. Brand new, never used. I thought I'd be using my ECB for chicken, but I don't.

Bass Pro Shops has two different size Brinkmann Charcoal Pans -- you want the 15 1/2" one which is cheaper than the smaller one for some odd reason.

I just ordered a couple of them last week for $4.00 each plus shipping.

You can also find stainless steel mixing bowls as replacements. At least I did for my Bandera.

 The mixing bowl sounds good . Thrift stores ,Big Lots , Walmart , K-Mart would have them fairly cheap. Next time I need one I'm trying that.:eusa_clap

Jordan- Are you wanting the Brinkmann pan for more water capacity or are you wanting to make a Piedmont Pan?

Brian

I recently ordered two Brinkmann charcoal pans for my WSM and the total was $11.95 including shipping....
