• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Wife bought asmall boneless pork roast. Has "up to 30% flavoring solution", It's "roast flavor". Is it smokable? Or shoulf we stick with the oven?

30%?? wow. Knowing they are 12% juiced, I hate to Q them.......How do you feel about pork-n-kraut? Maybe spear it with some garlic slivers, roast it on a rack for some color then move into a covered pot and braise it in water and beer with some onions before adding the kraut.
 
Or ham.

You can smoke it, but the meat will basically be cured. It will probably also cook faster than you might think.
 
I would do anything but braise it. I would start it hot in the 400 plus range and dial it back to 350 to finish. Pull it off at 140 internal temp and you will probably get a finished temp of 150 plus putting you around medium for doneness.
