• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I saw these at Kroger's Yesterday for $2.59/lb. I was wondering what would be the best way to grill these? Would they need to be marinated or would they even be any good for the grill? Thought I might stop after work and get a few...or should I pass.

With that description, it would be hard to say. Most of the "steak" cuts from the shoulder need a more moist cooking environment that the grill.

The flat iron and/or the top blade steak [two different ways of cutting the same muscle] is one of the shoulder cuts than be sucessfully grilled.

For $2.59 I would suspect it would be a braising steak for me.
