• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

So I've got a leftover Dino sized beef rib from a PBC cook. About to start a small crockpot of Anasazi Beans. Will season those with Bean Spice from Dove Creek. About 68.5% through the bean cook I'm going to add the one beef Dino bone- guessing 3/8#+ of meat and melted fat on the bone. May add some pan fried smoked sausage too. Will see how much room is available.

Red Flag warning with winds gusting 45-55 mph starting around noon. No need exciting my older neighbors with the aroma of smoke.

Sounds tasty... but could you be a little more specific about when in the cook process you plan on adding that dino bone? :icon_smile_tongue:

I'd leave the sausage out.....jmo but I think that dino bone will taste great on its own. Maybe add it at 67.25% into the cook so more flavor seeps out of the marrow.

That's gonna be delicious. I can tell already. :hungry:

With the strong south wind, I think I can smell it from here. Looks and smells great Adams! :becky:

Just did 28 mi on bike. 7 south fly back, 7 south fly back.
Brutal winds. Beans are going to be amazing. They do smell fine.

Looks great. It got super windy here yesterday. Fired up to propane grill with some 80/20 burgers. Almost burned down the neighborhood with a grease fire but the burgers were great. Wind this week in Amarillo anywhere from 8 mph - 62 mph. Ahh spring

Adding more meat :-))
