• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have about a 9lb bone in pork loin wanting to cook it until it hits about 145 internal temp. Any idea how much time before dinner I should start cooking it and suggested temp to cook at? I'll be cooking it in a backwoods fatboy.

I cook them hotter, at least 275, but more like 325. It's been a while, but 25-30 minutes per pound sounds familiar :-D

I would do it at the same temp you would do in an oven, ideally 350 or so. I did one last week at 400 because I was doing baked potatoes at the same time. Low and slow doesn't matter for a roast like that. I would guess more like 20 minutes per lb because pork roasts are never that thick.

I do these at 350ish to 140. It will carry to 145.

About 20 to 25 minutes a pound.

It's done, turned out great. Cooked it at 300 for about 2hrs.
