• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just fired up the stove to make a dutch oven's worth of chicken, andouille, and shrimp jambalaya! For some reason, when I cook my traditional family favorites I think of Mista...

I wanted to show you guys a pic, but with Jambalaya, you cannot lift the lid until its done! This is the lesson Bobby Flay failed to learn in one of his challeges! However, I love the look of well seasoned cast iron...

It still looks Great!

Trust me on this, it is great. I've adopted Noah's recipe and tweaked it very little (just because of regional differences and some of his ingredients are not available here). This is good eats!
 
Hey Kevin, long time no chat! It seems we're even, as I have adopted and tweaked your beans, and you have done the same with the Jambalaya! Hope all is well in the great white North.

I may try that with the chicken breasts I am thawing out! Got a more fresh hot peppers in the garden that need picking.

There's no mention of the rice.
Do you put it in uncooked, or cook it first?

I just made this recipe and put every kind of hot pepper I have in the garden in it!

It is very hot!

The women are gonna complain!

But it is good - I grilled some chicken breasts and found some shirmp in the freezer and it is really good!

Packed my lunch for work tomorrow but I can't drink beer inside the plant!

Had no celery or other things but it is some GOOD chit!
 
It's wonderful to be associated with a great dish!
