• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

For those of you not in the know, at old County Stadium in Milwaukee, WI and now at Miller Park, they have a "Secret" sauce (not so secret now that they market it in stores). They have pans on the griddles and they pour in sauce to warm it. Add in onions and kraut, and it is a food orgasm.

Today we went to Festival Foods (regional grocery chain) ad picked up some of their Oktoberfest brats. While there, I remembered that they carried Head Country Original BBQ Sauce. And I wanted those brats in a Head Country hot tub.

Got to the camper and fired up the Weber kettle. Put the brats on the Grill Grates. Cooked them to perfection. Meanwhile, the sauce is warming in a pan on the stove. When I brought out the pan of sauce, my buddy said, "I don't know what that is, but my mouth is watering already." slipped two brats into the sauce, rolled them around, and promptly put on a brat bun (a real brat bun; not those cheapo, crappy store buns).

I never thought I'd be saying this, but it's BETTER than stadium sauce. And I mean better than the REALLY good stuff they had at County Stadium. Multiple food orgasms ensued.

Head Country sauce is one of my favorites - and the reason is that it is such a perfect balance of spicy and sweet and tangy and murkiness . . . the entire spectrum of food emotions are represented in it.

I like the hot version.

I've been to Miller Park and had those brats before! I love them! I can't imagine there being a better brat. I wonder if they sell that sauce here in Indy!

I love Head Country sauce too..
