An update: I went out yesterday and watched the Bears lose and made a detour on the way home and got my money back.

I'm glad you got your refund.


The "Best By" date doesn't mean they are bad on that date, but I would have some serious concerns being they nearly two weeks past that date.


Glad it all worked out for you in a relatively easy manner.

I think you did the right thing. What is really most important is that the store should not be selling items two weeks past the best by date.
