If that's the "after" shot it looks might tasty. If it's the "before" shot we have a problem...
 
How do you get that nice dark color? I used a BGE and my birds come out a golden brown color, which is great, but I would like to see a dark, almost red color sometimes.
 
Thanx for the nice comments everyone. For the color, I first rubbed the bird with oil (I used a canola, Olive oil blend) then I rubbed it with smoked paprika and chili powder. I used apple wood mixed in with the charcoal. The skin came out crispy and the meat was absolutely juicy and delicious.
