robbq
is one Smokin' Farker
It's cold around here, so for the "Tailgate like a boss!" throwdown I made a nice hot beef stew.
Here are the ingredients.
This was a really nice Angus chuck roast. I put it over low heat to get a little charcoal flavor while the BGE was heating up.
Roasting the veggies a bit.
Browning the meat and onions.
I added a lot of wine, and let the meat cook for an hour and half. I left the lid off to get more charcoal flavor.
Added the veggies, and let it cook for another hour with the lid on.
Ready to eat.
Served over egg noodles.
It was very tasty, nice for a cold fall day.
