• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

This was a cook from the 4th of July weekend.
Had friends over for a couple of days. One night we made beef cheek tacos.

I received this comal last October for my birthday and had not used it yet. :oops: Thought this would be a good time to break it in.

Heated some oil in the comal first...

forgot to add... I liked the comal. I'm in the middle of making a dedicated burner for it. If I ever get it finished I'll post pics.

Thanks Pitboss! I liked the comal, I just heated everything in the center and moved it to the sided to keep warm. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be used but it worked. :grin:

That comal is the same as I have outback, had it for about 3 years and keep forgetting about it.

Fabulous. Have had my eye on a comal for a while. These pics move it to the top of the list.

Looks yummmmy as usual Jeannie!:thumb::thumb: Never even heard of a comal before, I'm going to have to check that out. Every time we go down to Arkansas my wife has to have me stop at a Sonic so she can get a diet lime aid to add to her vodka!!!:biggrin:

Hot cheeks wrapped in a warm moist tortilla drizzled with lime. 24/7/365. Outstanding :grin:
