• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hey all,

Was thinking of smoking some ribs for my shift (17 people including myself!) I'm figuring about 1/2 a rack of babybacks per person with some sides. Does that sound about right? I have a CharGriller w/ SFB, will it hold 9 racks of ribs?

Thanks!

I"ve got the same set up it'll work but you'll need rib racks I can cook ten BB's with two sets of rib racks.

Great, thanks. Does 1/2-rack per person sound about right? Planning on doing some sides that don't take up smoker space (cole slaw, etc).

When I feed the guys at the police station I cook 1/2 slab per person usually works out okay I also cook and extra slab or two for the big eaters (mainly me). The BB's I get usually have 1 1/2 in of meat on the top side so they are real meaty. With sides it'll be enough. I ususally make roasted garlic mashed potatos with mine and plenty of it its a good filler. Some kind of bread rolls, and sweet corn when its in season. The guys never complian about still being hungry. Ususally we don't work to hard after all that food, our gun belts are maxed out.
