Travel weary - Partners In Swines' Kevin W/Mrs. ModelMaker???

Had a great time visiting with all at the park Friday night. When Mrs. ModelMaker (Julie) found out Kevin was doin a lone wolf she offered to help out as helper/runner Saturday morning. She dropped me off at the judges check-in and I didn't see her again until after judging was done. I knew when I saw her smile she had a great time "learnin the ropes".
We all gathered under a shade tree with the breeze makin everybody even more tired and relaxed waiting for results.

Well we had a blast. Modelmaker and wife julie was a pleasure to meet you both and we can't wait til we can kick up the shoes and chill with you both again.

finally went by and talked with Scottie a little bit and met the sister. congrats on your walks. i forgot to scope out the RV/Garage/statue Holder setup you have. maybe in Brew-bq in independence if you are going to that.

Kevin "partners in swine" always a pleasure to see you, your great to hang around in comps and to find the Chinese restaurants in time of need for some dinner grub.

Hello all,

BIG THANKS to Julie for being my runner, I could not have been much further from the turn in point. It was great to spend time with ModelMaker and Mrs ModelMaker.

The weather was beautiful and it was good time had by all.

Ron, I made blue cheese cole slaw southern style. The funny thing was I completely forgot that I entered sides and desserts since it lowered the cost of the entry. Oh well a blind dog finds a bone every once awhile too.

N2Q - congrats on the Brisket. always happy to hang with you guys and share some fried rice. I guess that fortune of mine came true

You know Kevin. I just happen to have about 10 pounds of Maytag blue cheese in my fridge... Are you going to be giving up that recipe? As soon as they announced what you made, we all looked at each other and said that sounds good! :-D Congrats on the calls.

Good meeting/seeing everyone this weekend. It was a a good contest. The city really supported the contest. Which is a cool thing.

I might be able to give up some of the secret, my wife gets blue cheese from Clemson SC (she is alumni) so that's what I normally use, but that Maytag would rock. I will bring the formula when I see you next week back in Chicago.
