• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Looking to get a BBQ Guru for WSM 22” and Kamado Joe classic 2. Any recommendations between DynaQ and DigiQ DX3? Thanks!

Can’t give you a comparison on the two, but I can tell you that I have been using the DigiQ 3 on my WSM 22 for a couple of years now with no problems or complaints. The grate probe on it is always within 3-4 degrees of my Thermaworks Smoke grate temp.

I have the DigiQ2 on my Egg for long cooks. Works great and customer service is really good

Thanks for the feedback! Think I’m going to go with the DX3 just because it’s tried and true. Also like that it shows the temp without having to connect to the app.

Sometimes simpler is better. I plan on using my Cyber Q WIFI to run my Limo Jr. when it gets here. But since it won't sync ad hoc with droids, I would have to take it through the house wifi, which is currently supporting 2 work VPNs and a crapload of other wireless devices. Plus, I would then have to pull a phone or laptop up to look at things. My plan is to use the CyberQ to run the pit temp fan, and that's it. I'll monitor meat temps (and redundantly pit temp) through a Maverick XR50. I prefer the fact I can have the monitor unit constantly showing on a table beside me.

Well said. I have a Thermoworks Smoke which I plan on continuing to use just for the convenience of glancing over and seeing the temps without having to open up an app.
