This is just an experiment so no promises but so far so good! lol

Pork sausage and 80/20 ground beef meatball stuffed and bacon wrapped onions on the rotisserie. I could get 4 on 1 pair of the Octoforks, if this works next time I'll do more.

More pics to come pass or fail!

Interesting idea! Fun pics and video (as per usual).

Look forward to seeing the rest of the process and results!

That looks and sounds so good. Hope they turn out great. I'll try it.

Looks good! They're going to need a catchy name like atomic bacon balls.

I gotta lot of pron coming up just to show the progression. These couldn't have turned out much better though.

When almost done I stopped the spin to put cheese on, when it glued on some then I started spinning again.

I just got done stuffing myself with Brisket, but I think I could eat one of those for desert :thumb:

Wow. It might need some type of sauce to drizzle over. Try a bit of Ranch on a bite just for the Hell of it.

There's one leftover for tomorrow so I might try that and have another idea...will post pics then.

Reminds me of a vid that I saw on FB. We tried a few weeks back at a tailgate. Some really good stuff and the meat mix you use is what makes em. We put ours off to the side of the grill as we cooked everything else. At the end, my buddy topped em with some slices of muenster. Man, so good. Slicing the onions as shown in the vid, gives some more mileage on the onion and allows for more stuffage. I highly recommend dunking in a sauce. We used some store bought stuff, but it does add some depth of flavor. These are some good eats!

Gotta see if he took some pics so I can share em!

Gotta say it was pretty cool watching these spin...bacon basting more bacon. It was a lot of bacon grease dripping on the fire but I didn't feed the fire much wood. One split was just drenched in bacon grease... But YUM!

The cheese caramelizing on there was like icing on a cake.

Keith,

That looks absolutely killer. Keep the ideas and experiments coming!

Hope that Octopus will take his forks and show up in stores sometime soon!

Yea I saw a vid on Youtube...figured the roti and cooking over a live split fire would take it to the next level and I think it did, the caramelization was insane. Adding this Mex cheese while it was spinning was a good call, I wasn't sure it would work but it did!
