• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I am needing a little assistance, I have volunteered to bring the evening meal to one of our lodge meetings in March, we normally have ballpark around 25ish show up, I plan on smoking 2 10# bone-in butts, should that be enough for pulled pork sandwiches? Also I plan of bringing store bought potato salad and coleslaw, how many pounds of each would you recommend, thanks in advance. Chris

You'll have 10 pounds finished pork, at 5 oz per sandwich, you'll have enough.
3-4 oz/ person per side I'd say 5- 6 pounds each. You will have leftovers - good.
Any sweet relish going on the PP sammies?

Most guys who cater or vend figure 1/3 lb. cooked weight if it is the only meat. So, for 25 sandwiches you need at least 8 lbs cooked weight, or 16 lbs. raw. Sounds like you should be good!

Can I throw in if its SELF-Serve or what.
SOME people put more on their plates than a 5 oz serving cup.
More waste.

Thanks for the replies, I should be in good shape then with the pulled pork, and will get about 6lbs of each side, again thanks.
