• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Very interesting.

I could NOT find a price anywhere - I did find the info/order page, but no prices.

Neat modification to the lacajachina concept.

Being a carpenter i can deifinately build the box, anybody here want to weld the cage? could be a nice joint project

I called and got the machine, the pieces holding uo the cage as well as the charcoal trays looks like rebar. He has his phone number as well detailed instructions on how to use the unit on the spanish pages. ANother failure of the Bush administration

This is just another take on the typical "pit" set-up used by Cubans (and others). Instead of building a cinder-block pit, with the coals placed in the corners, this one is made out of wood, with similar coal placement. The 3-Guys out of Miami are sort of the pied piper of Cuban whole hog Q:

Looks pretty cool, though with the coals under the suspended pig, I'd think you'd lose all that lovely fatty juice you get in the La Caja.

I'm planning on cooking another pig New Years Eve so perhaps I could try piping smoke into the box through a small tube....

The first thing it says on the Spanish page is "This business is for sale".

Great looking and very simple product. I would guess they are built to order and I can't see what sort of value the business has.
