Just caught Arbys new TV ad featuring their new 18 hour smoked pork and brisket sandwiches.
2 actors of color enjoying their sandwiches on a picnic table while a small offset smoker behind them is blowing 500 cubic feet per second of billowing white smoke.

Not missing anything. To me, it's mostly a gloppy pile of gook. Not a big fan of sugary BBQ sauce. McRib takes it over the top.

What is McDonald’s McRib REALLY made from? Some might want to turn away now

There's an Arby's ½ mile away. Will give the spicy pork and brisket a try soon.

Sauce on the side instead of sandwich drenched in it
Sauce seemed initially too sweet, then the spice came on
Smoke was there
Thinly sliced, like Arby's regular roast beef
Decent size...not too big or small

Cons:
$8...can get a double roast beef with horsey sauce for a buck seventy less
Two thin pickle slices...almost couldn't tell there was any pickle at all
App allowed no option to add onion or anything else...I add onion to most everything. Best ordered at the store to allow customization.

Not certain if I'll try the pulled pork. It's two bucks less than the brisket...so, maybe

Sandwich was okay but their brisket has never done much for me either. Reuben is decent if ordered at the store with dressing on the side.
